The French Revolution (c. 1789-1799), like our present civilization in the West, was rife with secret occult societies, information, and misinformation, propagated both by the State, as well as these secret societies.
The long, and ofttimes egregious behavior of the institutional creations of religion, were also rife with internal conspiracies, and methods of population control.
At the same time, the reemergence of ‘pre’ Christian religions, those millennial-long interpretations of the natural law, those daily observations, which man had seen for a thousand generations, were now at odds with the relative development of the social structure of the emerging European metropolis, of modern city-state. As is the case today, there were strong elements, who claimed an elite status, by which they would rule the general population.
The ancien régime of the French revolution, often called the ‘golden age’ of man, has roots which go far deeper than the modern renaissance, yet is intimately intertwined with it. Due to the separation between the common man and woman, the elites propelled, and encouraged, a significant divergence between the elites and the common population - creating a separation between itself, which was not only unnecessary, but wholly destructive to the European race-culture.
The similarity between the modern ‘left’, and the Classical Enlightenment of pre-revolution in France, is that both elements see a universal change, coming at any cost, seeking to ‘unify’ the universal man - the exception, however, is that the original revolution, sought to increase the harmony, continental wide, of the European peoples, thereby creating an energy, which would propel the European peoples into a coming future (ancient) golden age.
The fight between the various forces was vicious, and ripped apart the intelligensia, as well as the clerical institutions.
Unlike today’s revolution in the name of the ‘common man’, the transference of Enlightenment Classicalism into the French philosophers’ fascination with the world of the ancient Greeks and Romans, permeated their writings, which revolutionary readers such as Robespierre avidly studied.
The idea that Classical civilization lived more rationally and naturally, and, therefore, ought to be emulated, influenced government leaders during the Terror to create new belief systems that would rebirth the pre-Christian traditions of antiquity. In this regard, much of the cults’ creation, theology, and iconography stem from the philosophes’ influence upon the French Revolution
Now, today, the inversion of this ancien régime, utilizes the same mechanics, but its end-game, is the complete abrogation of the ancient, and Classical views of natural law, to be subverted by the new religion of the Left.
The uses of occult nomenclature, is presently being seen across the ‘woke left’, creating the same mechanics of various secret, and not so secret societies, which has committed to another revolution, which they believe will be the end, of Classical Western polities, and once and for all, set the future in their own image.
