The Compulsion of Great Fear:
Or The Way-Signs of a Great Life?
It is a daily occurrence, the repeated angst, social distress, and national malaise.
The untold millions of voices, ever reaching a crescendo of apathy, and material information, which pushes the edge of truth and, consequently, the approximation of a credible answer to what is daily, an encroaching maw of mental disease, schizophrenia, and a national spirit, once vibrant, and forward moving, is now, evermore, a perceived status quo, without encapsulating a full-throated delineation, of our present trajectory.
One the one hand, we have those who see the past, where the West has showed its vitality, and its millennial-long struggle, to harness the natural environment, to subdue the vicissitudes of life, wherein we might make an industrious, harmonious, rule-based system of governance, whose sole intention was to see the sons and daughters of the West, ensconced in a place, a place where we would call our own; and, having that place, the ways and means of our production was focused on our needs, as is the role of every tribal unit, who seeks to carry on into the future.
Of this body of persons, as is natural, the best indicator was the common sense of natural fecundity, the organic, and systematic increase in the greatest of assets, our children, who would then grow, and follow the best indicators of our collective: Mental acuity. Not only were the unions of men and women a serious endeavor, for each family had to depend upon themselves, for their daily bread, but the proven methods, brought about by specific, and unique minds would, in a progressive setting, allow the family next door, to increase as well, as long as the devices and methods established by those unique individuals were adhered too and, once again, passed on to the others. This syncretic method required, also, a growing intelligence, aptitude, and performance – a caste system was developed, and with time, harnessed the energy of the entire nation. This may well have taken a dozen generations, depending upon the time-frame of history, yet it has proven itself time, and time again.
As these rudimentary skills were perfected, this brought about other changes in perspectives, attitudes, and an overriding sense of curiosity. This latter, in fact, led to the accumulation of information, a penchant for noticing events in the temporal world; these events, if seen in succession, became to be know as empirical evidence, and became such a raison d'être, that these Western Peoples, became known for their zealous attempts at knowing the very concept of life, of thought, and those mechanical modes, by which they might utilize this knowledge, to better their station, as well as delve into the mysteries of the heavens – of God.
With time, as the situations warranted, War, natural migration, natural catastrophes, and the like, this knowledge was dispersed within the larger community of the West, and created a certain native understanding of what was, a burgeoning technocracy. Time, as we know it, has only moderated, and advanced, relative to our situations, and our specific locations which, as we know, is a unique and wondrous laboratory, by which we have created some of the greatest marvels of the world.
